Colterman Marketing Group (CMG) Canada and the Centre ofExcellence for Public Sector Marketing (CEPSM) are pleased to announce their merger that consolidates their collective strengths and provides an enhanced level of expertise and services to the public and not-for-profit sectors in Canada and internationally. 

Since 1998, the Colterman Marketing Group (CMG) Canada has provided leadership and expertise to all three levels of government, non-profit organizations and professional associations in the areas of sponsorship and partnership development, event and exhibit marketing, association revenue development and strategic marketing planning. CMG’s Designing and Selling Your Sponsorship Program, Revenue Generation Boot Camp and Essential Selling Skills workshops have helped hundreds of professionals from these sectors take a more strategic approach towards revenue generation.

Launched in 2005, the Centre of Excellence for Public Sector Marketing (CEPSM) has played a leading role in helping public sector organizations adopt marketing practices in their operations, providing expert advice in the areas of strategic marketing planning, social marketing for behaviour change, branding, website strategy planning and digital marketing. CEPSM’s Social Marketing, Partnership and Social Media workshops have helped thousands of public and non-profit professionals enhance their skills and implement more effective programs, services and campaigns.

The two organizations operating under the Centre of Excellence for Public Sector Marketing umbrella will offer a seamless suite of consulting, training, and speaking services to the public, non-profit and association sectors that will be unparalleled in Canada. “This merger was a logical and inevitable response to the complex challenges facing our clients and leverages the range of marketing and communications solutions that our combined resources will bring to the table” states Bernie Colterman, CMG President and CEPSM Co-Founder.
