Sharp idea to extend the life of your razor blade
Razorpit is a simple way to maintain the sharpness of your razor blades

Toronto ON - Shaving tools, razors and blades are big business in Canada. With close to $250 million spent on blades alone, Canadians are throwing away their cash along with millions of razor blades each year. Now available in Canada, the Danish-designed Razorpit uses a friction-based method to remove the fine residues of hair, skin and soap that make razor blades dull, extending the life of any one razor blade from 5 to10 shaves up to 150 shaves.
“The razor blades we purchase today are superior products that have the potential to last a long time. There is no reason why we should be tossing them in the trash after the recommended two weeks,” says Jason Goncalves, president of Perma Brands, the company introducing Razorpit to the Canadian market. “Razorpit lets you extend the life of your razor blades, giving you more value for your money, and leaving fewer razor blades in landfills. It’s a beautiful example of an innovation that is set to revolutionize the razor blade industry and save money for millions of Canadians.”
Razorpit’s simple design is made of recycled TPE (Thermo Plastic Elastomeric), which is a highly stable, inactive material with the properties of silicone and rubber. To clean the razor, simply glide the blade across the surface of the Razorpit, removing the soap, skin, hair and all the other build-up that makes a razor feel dull.
Most men find that for a more comfortable shaving experience, the blade should be changed weekly. With a typical five-blade cartridge, Canadians will save $235 in the first year alone by using the Razorpit. For consumers, this means good value – and it also means that Canadians avoid filling landfills with millions of used blades and packaging.
“Because of the high cost of razor blades, a lot of people try to use them for as long as possible – even past the point of when it becomes uncomfortable,” says Goncalves. “That kind of suffering just isn’t necessary anymore.”
Razorpit is available at razorpit.ca for $25 and can also be purchased from a growing number of retailers across Canada listed on the website.

The Razorpit is worth the money of your purchase and more. I have had mine now for just over a month and I feel like I am using a new razor blade every time I shave. The Razorpit does not only keep my blades sharp, but it hold's my razor neatly so I am not looking for it everytime I go to shave. Razorpit is eco friendly and I am happy knowing that by using this new product I am doing my part for the enviroment. Razorpit is 100% worth the purchase.
