Cash Store Financial's Freedom Run launches second year of 32 runs across Canada starting August 15th

EDMONTON - Cash Store Financial (TSX: CSF; NYSE: CSFS) has partnered with ADF-Diabetes Research to present the second year of Cash Store Financial’s Freedom Run with 32 runs across Canada starting August 15th. Sunday, August 15th, seven cities will be hosting 3km and 5km walk/runs to raise funds to find a cure and give the 2.5 million Canadians with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes freedom from insulin dependence and injections. Join the race for freedom and sign up to walk or run in this event.
JoAnne Langner, Executive Director, Alberta Diabetes Foundation said, “Everyone knows someone – a friend, family member or co-worker with this disease and although you’ll seldom see diabetes listed on a death certificate, the complications can range from blindness and limb amputation to death. The funds raised through these events will allow us to continue our mission to find a cure for Diabetes.”
The first 7 runs will take place in Winnipeg, Brandon, Regina, Lloydminster, Red Deer, Lethbridge and Grande Prairie August 15th.
