John Kageorge recognized as the 2010 CPRS Outstanding Achievement Award winner

NEWS RELEASE FACTS
- The Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) honoured John Kageorge, Communications Strategist at Vital Communications, with the 2010 Outstanding Achievement Award.
- He received a framed certificate and was acknowledged amongst his peers at the CPRS national conference awards gala on June 15 at the Delta Regina in Regina, Sask.
- The award recognizes a single, major contribution which resulted in the betterment of CPRS and the enhancement of its image in the eyes of other Canadians or the world-at-large.
- Kageorge was honoured for his work as the chair of the 2009 CPRS National Conference in Vancouver, stepping into the role last minute after the then-current conference chair, Jeff Domansky, was seriously injured in a water accident while on vacation.
- The 2009 National Conference was one of the most successful conferences in CPRS history, attracting 350 delegates and earning a healthy surplus despite it taking place during the economic downturn.
