Looking To Buy A New Car/Truck/SUV or CUV? AJAC Has Done The Leg Work For You

October 28, 2009 @ 11:00AM

If you’re in the market for a new car, truck, SUV or CUV, our association has done the leg work for you by providing consumers with an on-line comparative resource buying guide.

Need to compare the Kia Soul to the Nissan Cube?   How about a Volkswagen Golf GTI with a Mazdaspeed3?  Data that measures ride comfort, steering, braking, acceleration, driver position, visibility, styling, transmissions and / or engine smoothness will be available this Friday, October 30th on the AJAC web site (www.ajac.ca).

Until then, seventy (70 ) of Canada’s best known automotive journalists are right now test driving one-hundred and fifty-seven (157) new model vehicles at the Niagara District Airport in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario during the automotive industry’s annual media event known affectionately as “TestFest”.

The test-drive evaluations are based on back-to-back testing in real-world situations so that the test data are directly relevant to potential new car and truck buyers.

You can watch the journalists test-drive the vehicles by viewing a short video available on our web site later today or on YouTube.

Photos from TestFest are also available on our public web site daily as well as on your favourite social networking site.

Here’s the link:  www.ajac.ca > Canadian Car of the Year  > 2010 TestFest.

There’s more…..While at “TestFest”,  our journalist “road-test” experts vote on the 2010 “Best New” winners in twelve (12) different categories covering small cars, luxury cars, family cars, SUVs, CUVs, sports and performance dreams, to name a few.

The “Best New” 2010 winners will be announced on-site at the actual TestFest event this Friday, October 30th at 10:00 am.   Vote results will be posted as close to noon as possible:  www.ajac.ca > Canadian Car of the Year > 2010 Result Comparisons.

Still looking to buy a 2009, 2008 , or even an older vehicle?  AJAC archives the comparative test data and vote results from previous years on its web site.
